TechEase · Where industry meets AI
Practical tools for industry and everyday life
I'm Hans Tandt, an industrial engineer and project manager in Belgium with more than 35 years on the factory floor. I build software that takes the paperwork and guesswork out of real jobs, with AI as my everyday tool.

More to come
This is only the beginning. I keep working on every project, and new ones are on the way.
Help is welcome
Most of my time now goes into testing, evaluating feedback and adding the requests that make sense. That is where you can help: try a tool in your own work, tell me what doesn't work, and suggest what is missing.
And you learn along the way. Testing a tool like WOMS is a practical way to get to know how maintenance is organised, and ideas like TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), from the shop floor up.
- Test a tool in your own work
- Report what doesn't work
- Suggest what is missing
- Learn maintenance and TPM in practice

About me
I'm a senior industrial engineer with more than 35 years in industry. My background is electrical engineering and industrial IT, and I've spent my career in wood processing and manufacturing: managing projects worth millions, from new production lines to presses and sawing stations, running production and cogeneration, keeping quality certifications on track and the IT running.
In 2003 I was asked to help an MDF factory in the jungle of Borneo, where one production line hardly ran at all. I started with the easy problems that had the biggest impact, and after three weeks that line ran a whole week without a single stop, for the first time since the owner bought the company. One part of the solution was a simple work-order system on an old PC: WOMS, which I'm now rebuilding.
That work is full of reports, checks and decisions that could be simpler. So I started building tools for them, with AI. Where many people still wonder what to do with AI, I use it every day to make concrete things: a safety report writer, a machine fault log, an energy decision agent, a backup tool, and a meal planner for our family.
I speak French, Dutch, English and German, and most of my tools do too.
